Ordering

Our preferred payment is by credit card as we accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. We do extend open credit to customers upon our standard credit application and approval of Optimal Handling Solutions.

*5.6% Sales tax is applied to all purchases in the state of Wisconsin.

Shipping Information

Shipping costs for all orders are based on the product weight, dimensions, distance shipped, and shipping class. To receive shipping quotes please contact us by phone or email with the product, quantity of the product, and shipping zip code. All items are shipped freight or ground unless otherwise requested. We also can ship collect or on a company account upon request. All in-stock items are also available for customer pickup. Additional shipping charges will be added for missed drop off appointments or re-deliveries if needed and the customer will be responsible for these charges.

All products in-stock are shipped FOB Brookfield, all other products are shipped FOB Factory.

*Please note that due to the volatility of shipping costs, quotes are valid for two weeks and are subject to change with missed deliveries.

Order Processing Times

All in-stock orders placed and processed before 3:00pm CST Monday-Friday are usually shipped within 2 business days. Weekend and holiday orders will be processed on the next available business day.

Orders containing items on backorder or necessary lead-time will NOT ship until all product(s) are available. Customers may request a partial shipment of their order, but may be subject to additional shipping charges.

Although we strive to carry a larger quantity of stock to service our customers, stock levels and demand do vary from day-to-day. If you would like to check on the availability of an item please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service department at 866-628-0900.

Customers will receive confirmation via phone or email notifying them that the order has been processed.

Guarantees

Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We guarantee our items to be free from defects. Should a product be defective in any way we can offer a discount on the product or issue a refund on the purchase price and pay for the return shipping.

Warranties

Optimal Handling Solutions warrants all of its products (excludes pallet jacks) against defects in welded structural frame and, if applicable, scissor legs, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components from faulty material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of invoice. All electrical components are covered for a period of 180 days from the date of invoice.

All batteries are covered under a separate limited warranty from the battery manufacturer for a period of one (1) year period from the date of invoice.

All other components have a limited warranty against defects in faulty material and workmanship for a one (1) year period from the date of invoice. Please not that all Optimal Handling Solutions must grant authorization for all warranty work.

Optimal Handling Solutions makes no representation that this product complies with local, state, or federal safety/product standards or codes. Should this product fail to comply in any way with those codes, it shall not be considered a defect of materials or workmanship. Warranties also do not cover among other things, damages resulting from foreign matter or water, failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance, use of the product while the charger is plugged into an AC outlet, if applicable, or failure to follow operating instructions. Warranty is deemed not valid for damage resulting from negligence, accident, unreasonable use, abuse or misuse, exceeding rate capacities, or altering the product.

Refunds & Restocking

Products may be returned for refund or exchange within 60 days of purchase if you are not satisfied with our products. We do however charge a 20% restocking fee. Please follow the shipping instructions below. Customized products are not eligible for return.

Instructions

To return your order, please contact our Customer Service Team by email at customerservice@optimalhandling.com or call 866-628-0900 to request a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Please note that all returns must be authorized or will otherwise be rejected. All returns are subject to inspection.

Returned merchandise must be in original factory condition, including all packaging materials, inserts and manuals, warranty cards (not filled out), and all accessories or returns will not be accepted.

Attach the RA# issued be Customer Service clearly on the outside of the package. We will arrange a pickup appointment and contact you with at least 24 hours notice of the scheduled pickup. The product must be ready for pickup during the specified scheduled pickup. If the pickup arrangement is missed all additional shipping fees incurred will charged to the customer.

A credit will appear for the cost of the items minus any original shipping fees after we have received and processed your return. You will receive an email notification once your return has been received by our processing department. Credit card companies vary on the time it takes for credit to appear on their customers’ records. Please allow one to two billing cycles for the refund to appear on your statement.
